Thanks, Jonathan. You've provided the context to explain when double-tap
invoked the "Pay with Touch ID" screen, vs the the App Switcher screen. I've 
now disabled that function in Settings.


I am, however, still confused about paying with touch ID. I've not yet
learned to do that on my phone. Does that setting need to be on? I have
presumed "yes," which explains why I turned it on once upon a time.
