This is an update on my adventure with my new Brother HL-L2395DW printer/scanner. Bottom line is that everything is going well.
My friend was by and installed the toner cartridge yesterday. Then she left and I suddenly realized I'd neglected to have her discover the default password. So, it took a little on line digging, but I found a password. Once I had that everything went smoothly. * The printer plays sound when powering up, and a different sound * when powering down. Nice, because it's one of those "hold it in * for a second or two" buttons that don't tactually give you their * state. * The physical keys and the touch screen are likely useless. I * haven't found any value in them. * But, that's not an issue because everything can be controlled * from a browser, or a Brother app on your phone. * I've configured mine over wireline IPv6 and IPv4. I've accessed * over wifi--than you Linksys OpenWRT router.
