Hi,

You're thinking backwards :). What you really want is to set up Safari special
to have QuickNav on and such, but it not everywhere else, or at least in most
places. To accomplish this, go into VO Utility, to the Activity category,
cmd-0 I believe. Set up a new activity that makes sure that QuickNav is on and
single letter navigation is enabled and the application is Safari. I think
you'll be able to figure it out once you're in the Activities category, but if
you need more help, let me know.

Later...

Something that always screws me up is this: I’m navigating round in Safari,
Quick Nav and single-letter on. Sometimes I forget to turn off quick nav or
single letter when I hit a form field, but I’m getting used to being aware.
However when I jump away from Safari to email or some other app, and I forget
to turn off quick nav, it’s just one more irritation.
Is there a way to set Voiceover so that when I’m in another app the quick Nav
is automatically turned off? Not too much to ask, is it?
