Hi list, What are your experiences with dragging and dropping on the Mac? I probably never managed to succesfully do it when I tried it and have tried it it for the last two days, without succes again.
This is what I am trying to do and how I do it: I want to drag an app onto another app. I open the app on which the other app has to be dropped. Then I open up the Application folder, select the desired app and then press vo+comma to mark it for dragging. After that I switch with command+tab to the destinated app and press vo+period. I hear some moving sound, but get the message that it could not be dropped. I have been thinking that its perhaps only possible when both app and Finder windows are visible, but have no idea if this is the case and how to get it done if possible. Copying and pasting doesn’t work either. Anyone have some advice or ideas? Lots of thanks in advance! Ronald -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
