The X R, without a case, for me, feels rather slippery. With a case, though, it feels great and solid, and the battery life is just amazing, even when using it with Wifi, Bluetooth, location services, and background app refresh on. If you don't need all that, one user has said that he gets a day and a half of Wifi. With it, I get a full day of life.
