Yes, currently, the gesture must be a sharp angle, and it must be completed within 1/4 to 1/3 of a second. If they increase the time to a couple seconds, that could help quite a bit. Also, it would help if they slightly soften the right angle and absolutely straight line requirements. This is where Apple is still ahead.
