You don’t have to take all that many steps, you can just leave the monitor on 
the doc which honestly is no more key strokes than vo m twice and right to the 
reading area past WiFi.  That’s just not a valid criticism.  There’s to many 
easy ways to hot key that sort of thing or at least bring it in to a very 
similar number of keystrokes.
