That's a good point John. I've read a lot of Mac stuff over the years - not 
on this list, and it seems to me as though Apple fandom and the Mac more 
specifically have become religious doctrine for some. Both sides have their 
evangelists who trash one side or the other, although I have never heard a 
Windows podcast trash Apple, although the same cannot be said of the Apple 
and Linux podcasts which frequently do.

At the end of the day, people should use whatever suits them. There is no 
hard and fast rule that says that one OS is better tahn the next. It is a 
matter of need and sometimes cost. use Mac and Windows because both offer 
different things and different ways of doing things. Windows is better for 
some and mac for others. I also use Linux, but at the moment that is more 
for my own curiosity than anything else. Although I can certainly see the 
benefits of a completely free and open source operating system, despite my 
own reservations about Linux not entirely user friendly - especially to the 
novice Linux or computer user.
