Hi,

Yes. This is very easy to do. Go into your system preferences Users and Groups 
preference pane. You will have to unlock the pane to make changes.

If you already have accounts sett up, simply checking or unchecking the Allow 
this user to administer the computer” checkbox will enable or disable admin 
rights. If you are creating a new user, just pick Admin or standard from the 
pop up user type option box.

You will always have to have at least one user who has admin rights, so you 
must create a new admin before removing rights from an existing one.
