Hi there, the choice between the iphone and the touch is not hard, I got the 
touch because I don't need phone access at this time. You thinking of a phone 
upgrade, then perhaps the iphone is better for your needs. The technology is 
similar with both, so if you get a chance play with someones, or get a good bit 
of time with the demo phones if possible. It is very different than a lot of 
technology and does come with some learning curve. Having said that I love my 
ipod touch and have adapted well. Some may not and it really comes down to 
personal taste.
