Have apple produced an airport express device yet that does 802.ac, or is that still limited to the airport extreme or timecapsule?

So, you find them more reliable? No, my current router is N, not AC, and can't cover the whole house. More importantly, it doesn't support any form of NAS, and I'd rather not buy a wifi hard drive enclosure; it seems like storage would be more reliable connected right to the router. As to Airplay, I hadn't thought of that. Can someone briefly explain what the differences are between the Express, Extreme, and any other models I may have missed? What, exactly, would Airplay on a router let us do with media playback around the house? Why would an Extreme router lack a feature an Express one includes? > On Jan 17, 2016, at 19:04, Sabahattin Gucukoglu <listse...@me.com> wrote: > > You want—no, need—Apple AirPort because Apple makes it and Apple products are > divine. > > No, seriously, as usual with Apple you get what you pay for.
