OK, how about this.
Could it be that you have the 3D touch sensitivity set too high? I mean,
it's unlikely? Yes? I agree, but could it even remotely be possible?

any difference if I push hard or hardly push it all. Double tap and hold
there's no longer allow for deleting apps for me either.
