I guess this headset you're talking about is both USB ready with the dongle, but can also be used as Bluetooth? If so, how much does one a these babies cost! that is awesome!

(I am using a mid 2010 iMac). Again, I am not sure if this describes your problem, but if these steps do help, then great. If not, then I hope you are able to find an alternative solution to your problem.
