Hello Alex, I’m not sure how you’re reading the text. If you just use the arrow keys, placeholder text will be highlighted as you reach it and will be read. When you do the next right arrow, the placeholder text will be unhighlighted and any normal text will be read normally. Never use Quick Nav in Pages! It simply isn’t worth the trouble. Other thoughts: have you got your mouse cursor set to ignore the other cursors? It works better that way.
