FWIW, I prefer DOM mode all the time. I have tried group mode every now and again, but I found that the supposed efficiency benefits were never there for me, and in fact I’d simply miss out on details that I actually wanted. Since group mode is based on document structure, it should in theory be the superior mode, but in practice I find that the real world doesn’t actually work like that, so I just learned all the quick navigation commands and use those in DOM mode when I need to move faster.
