Hi,

I use Group mode pretty well all the time. As Anne mentioned, it seems much
quicker when navigating sites you are familiar with as it allows you to
navigate quickly past groups of content on the page that may be irrelevant to
you at that time. I also use tab navigation fairly often in conjunction with
Group navigation. You can set efficient tab navigation in the Advanced pane of
safari Prefs whereby tab will move between links and other controls and
option-tab quickly moves between fields.

No question. group is a much more intuitive way to navigate than dom, taking
full advantage of the mac system of navigation as it does.

I would use it all the time except that no matter how many upgrades come down
the pipe, group mode is consistently very slow. It pauses my browsing with
busy busy busy messages and takes longer to load large webpages.

If it were resource efficient on my machine I would use it but for now it's dom
mode.
