Hi, I use Group mode pretty well all the time. As Anne mentioned, it seems much quicker when navigating sites you are familiar with as it allows you to navigate quickly past groups of content on the page that may be irrelevant to you at that time. I also use tab navigation fairly often in conjunction with Group navigation. You can set efficient tab navigation in the Advanced pane of safari Prefs whereby tab will move between links and other controls and option-tab quickly moves between fields.
