Hi,

I have the Apple TV 2 and have no issues like this when streaming music or HD 
media either directly from my computer or from Apple using HDMI.  As long as 
your Internet connection is good, the WiFi Access Point is working normally and 
you’re playing properly formatted media, there should not be any real 
noticeable lag.  VO should speak normally as well.
