Hello Donna,

Whenever I’ve had to remove the preview pane using the trackpad, what I’ve done
is to press down on the trackpad with one finger, and stroke the trackpad
towards me with another finger. However, it may depend on your trackpad
settings in System Preferences. Here are my settings:

Point & Click: all checkboxes unchecked;
Scroll & Zoom: the Scroll direction: natural checkbox is checked, the Zoom in
or out checkbox is checked, the Smart zoom checkbox is unchecked, and the
Rotate checkbox is checked.
More Gestures: all checkboxes unchecked.

Obviously, you have to turn off Trackpad Commander to use the trackpad for this
purpose.

Cheers,

Anne
