I also updated and my word is go for it. Just goes to show that know two people are going to have the same experience. If you are nervous about updating and don't need to, then don't. If you don't really have anything to lose, go ahead. If no one updates, then nobody can report bugs to Apple or share tips and tricks for getting around the new operating system. If you are going to tell someone not to update under any circumstance, you might want to provide more specifics than the operating system is garbage. Just my two cents. Maybe a dollar 50.
