Thanks Barry and Mike. That work-around will do for now. It wasn't necessary before these updates, but at least there's a way around it. Hopefully they'll restore it to the way it was. My daughter has yet to update to 10.9.3, so I'm going to update iTunes first and that way I can isolate whether it's the new iTunes or the Mavericks update that has caused the problem.
