I have no idea how to change the channel. Also, i mentioned to make sure your
router is up to date. The reason I do not know how to change the channel on
your router is because I have a apple router and my husband has specific
software to that router installed on his computer and that is where i changed
the channel. There is a diagnostic utility on your computer provided by to
check the internet activity and channels being used in your area.
Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of it or where I found it. Let me
poke around a bit on my computer to find it so that you can do a check to see
if you have a low traffic channel you can try to switch to. I apologize but I
just don't remember things well if I only do them once. :) Also, I asked you
if your router belong to your internet service provider. If so, they may offer
free support and maybe they can help you out. I believe some routers you can
actually get to through Safari to make changes. If your router and Modem are
from your ISP, I suggest you call their tech suport. I have CenturyLink and I
can call them and they can do a reboot/reset of my modem remotely. They can
even run diagnostics. So, they could be a good place to try. Also, did you turn
your router off for a few minutes and then restart it? Sometimes this can fix
the problem very easily. I suggest you actually unplug the unit from the wall
and give it a rest for a couple of minutes. I have had tech people ask me to do
this before and it solved the problem.

Best of luck and I hope i didn't confuse you even more,
Christina
