I had the same problem once. I had to change the channel on my router to a less busy channel and the problem stopped. I am thinking this is probably not the solution for you as I don't think you changed the channel of your router but I thought i'd pass this info along just in case it helps you. If your router is provided by your internet service provider you may be able to call them for help. Otherwise, you may need to update the firmware drivers and such on your router or somehow access your router to try different channels.
