Bryan, you haven't by any chance gotten the enable audio ducking check box checked in the VO utility under sound? Maybe it got turned on again for some reason. Other than this, I wouldn't know what to suggest. I don't know if your talking about VO sounds or sounds in general by the OS but from where I am I never use the VO sounds because I find them more of a hinderance than help but that's just me. Granted, I would use the VO sounds on the Mac if they were customisable but for now they are staying off here.
