Hello Jessica, In your iPhone's Settings, under Goggles, Speak out must be on.
In the app itself, the bottom righthand button should say Still Camera. The button to the left of that should say Record. The iPhone must not be on silent. Change language now should be on EN. I hold the phone more than a hand's breadth from the object I wish to identify.
