Hi, The vents are in the hinge area after you open it. The Apple store did it for me as a courtesy with a blast of compressed air--who thought canned air was a joke. I'd suggest having sighted help with this task. You don't want to blow the dust deeper in, but rather out, so a visual inspection is important. . --Scott
