Hi brent: In windows you have the option to ajust volumes for playback and recording individually now I'm wondering if you have this kind of flexability on the mac, because yeah if you were to mute the mic then you wouldn't be able to record your voice, but if you could mute the mic playback but keep the recording part unmuted then you could do that.
