I may have asked you this already, but got a lot on my mind. Did you  
do a reset from within  iTunes? I'm just wondering if you had reset  
the iPod back to the factory settings and then upgraded the software.  
I have not encountered this problem yet and I'm just wondering what  
may fix the issue. If you have already done this, then I must admit  
I'm stumped.
and reinstall the latest software.iTunes? This would clear the iPod
