Marcel, the foundation turned off UDC in Juno (iirc) because they were
not able to make the data available easily (because it contained
references to proprietary data), and it was also using servers. Has this
changed?

From my own discussions with Wayne and others I think you should talk at least
to Wayne before putting your usage collector in place and get the EF's position
on collecting this kind of installation stats. One may argue it's similar to
the P2 installation stats but as soon as you collect UUIDs you are getting
into a grey area.
