That you check every 500 ms for an eventually changed PDF-file. Some people complained about this. I think we should use the same application for both installers.
In principle yes, but some people also complained about your lyxc.exe. This name is confusing as the lyx.exe should be the executable. I developed therefore together with the same user who contacted me about the PDF stuff the LyXLauncher.exe that comes with my installer. Thus the lyx.exe is the real program, the launcher is only there to hide the console window.
