I was convinced having read somewhere that LyX wanted 4.3.x, and I just checked - Slackware 12.0 still has Qt-3.3.8. They are getting a bit too conservative! Qt4.3.1 for Slackware is available from http://slackware-current.net/list.php?f=20&c=22 for those who don't want to compile. Keep it up guys (I mean LyX, not this thread...). Cheers... John
