Not as far as I know. These fonts have been installed for a decade and LyX/LaTeX are not aware of them. I believe one must go through the font installation guide, step-by-step, to install them so LaTeX knows they're there. Similarly, all the installed fonts are not automagically visible to the GIMP, either. Rich -- Richard B.
