Dunno. I'm no Windows user. However, I read in this list that there might be 
problems if some older or some similar font is installed.

which is most likely related to the windows font issue

(I cannot reproduce any of those problems on Linux).

You have to use a debugger. Again, since I do not use Windows, I don't know 
what's the exact procedure there.
