Doesn't work here, but I can live with it in French, because
the F1-F12 keys are mapped to diacritics àâ..À..Ç using xmodmap, and the
left pad with a binding file (in attachment, I can't remeber what was thw
need for the Multi-keys bindings, you may just wipe them out).
The « » are set with the preferences.
I often nee µ and ° however, I copy and paste...
