first of all: Congratulation to the team, Lyx 1.1.6 is fine!
I make some Icons for the taskbar. I missed there Icons for reference,
label, citation, and floats.
I've also some remarks:
If I make a float with a table, it's a little bit difficult to place the
table. I had to push RETURN in the caption-line to create a new line
above the caption-line placing the table. Without RETURN Lyx places the
table in the caption-line. The float with the figure works well.
I use tkbibtex and if i try to configure the lyxpipe (in the german lyx
version Einstellungen-Eingabe-Pfade) but I had to type the path with the
keyboard. Browse and search the right path didn't save it in the
field.This is not so important, because the new funktion allows to get a
citation very easy in the documents. So I need tkbibtex only for data
input
More trouble I get with the spellchecker. I use ispell, i write my
documents with ngerman. So I selected for ispell german in the
configuration. ispell seems not to recognize german Umlaute. e.g. 'über'
it want to replace with 'u"ber' and even if I tell it to save this word,
the next 'über' it's the same play. The same seems to happen with the
plural and the 'konjungierte Wörter'.
Sometimes Lyx breaks down without any warning. I couldn't find a system
in this behavior. But fortunately the emergency-saving works almost
perfect.
And sometimes it 'jumps' to another part of the document, if I try to
insert a reference (no I don't push go to :-)) in my text.
My System: SUSE 7.0 and the lyx-rpm for SUSE 6.4 from P.Suetterlin
