I'm using texlive, I don't know if for Debian packages TeXLive has added up fonts in the base package.
"tex --version" results: TeX 3.14159265 (TeX Live 2019/Debian) kpathsea version 6.3.1 Also, I can compile regular .tex files for moderncv class with latex and pdflatex commands (I mean, using regular TeX code instead of using LyX).
