I have not made heavy use of child/master documents so I'm just getting started with the basics.
If I compile only the child then is the LaTeX preamble still inherited from the master? >From the Embedded Objects manual: "A child document inherits elements from its master, for example the LaTeX preamble, the bibliography, and labels for cross-references." Does that sentence only refer to when compiling from the master document? Scott
