Hi everybody,
I've just download lyx (latest stable and 1.03pre4) to give them a try,
it configures and compile just fine. As suggested in the README file I
cd to the src directory and tried lyx. It gaves me the following error:
LyX wasn't able to find any layout description!
Check the contents of the file "textclass.lst"
Sorry, has to exit :-(
So I checked the file textclass.lst in the lib directory and ... it is
empty except for the comments, I tried to rerun configure (cause the
comment said this file is generated by configure... ) but that wasn't a
succes.
Can someone tell me what am I doing wrong, my setup is a Red Hat 6.0 box
with egcs-2.91.66 and glic 2.1.1 installed I have download xform 0.88
for elf.
