Given that all this thing does is launch the real lyx once, I don't think you
need worry about code size. It's speed of execution is going to be negligible,
and certainly orders of magnitude faster than the interpretted lyx.bat.
What I was worried about (actually not much) is the download size of
lyx installer. I guess hidecmd.exe is small enough, compared to the 9M
download size of the small installer.
