This really is the wrong way around. If scons is ever to be set to
work for lyx is has to do what we want for linux/unix.
Why can not you just ignore scons before it works on more platforms?
Actually, the problems I am encountering now is not all scons' fault.
For example, .C is treated as .c under windows, and Qt has some other
names. As far as I can tell, I am not far away from a working system.
If that cannot easily be done all effort to make it work for
cygwin/win/me/98/95/3.11 whatever will be wasted
How much time have you spent on autotools to make it work on windows?
My exact point is that it is easier for scons to work there.
I had to have it doubled up.
Or do this:
I will have a look at your patch. But at least you see how easy it is
to make it work for you.
It is not _you_ that have to be persuaded. It is I.
Seems that I will have to do the revert myself.
Have you heard that others are going to test this scons build? You are
just making everyone's life harder by doing this.
