the case for all Unix/Linux and that's definitely not the case for
Windows. Plus, I am not sure of that but I think that with Cmake it's even
simpler because you just need "make" to compile lyx.
That means you don't need cmake if you want to compile from the tar.gz
package? That would be great. Your previous post did not look like this.
Well, I am not sure to what extent I am right or wrong here. But I know
that you can generate a tarball for a given distribution that will
compile with a simple "make". I am not sure that will not resolve
dependency though.
