Hey list, I'm a non-programmer (well, I dabble in Python occasionally, but not enough to be useful). Despite this, I want to see the release of LyX 1.4.0 as much as anyone else (though I'll happily back up on that claim to save grief ;) ).
The crux of this message is this: As a non-programmer, what can I do to help towards LyX 1.4.0 being released. I've read that patches need testing but I don't know which patches these are, and where I could find a list of them. I hope this will generate something constructive, because I really want to contribute to the release. Cheers, Dan
