I'm using version 12, installed before my previous questions were sended.

With instant preview I'm referring just to the good looking math formulae
inside a document. I wasn't able to make it work (this worked well after all
the tunning, in version 1.3.5)

My imcluded pictures displays as expected for eps and png formats so I guess
the other formats will also work.

Accented characters are lost. Not possible to make á, é, í, ó, ú ü, or any
double keystroke accented letter.

Is there a way to have messages for debugging the installation?

Thanks

Eugenio

P.D. Nice implementation and after setting the LANG variable accordingly,
everything works in spanish. Changing the spellchecker by hand in the
configuration makes it possible to spellchecks the document (it is not posible
to change it from within Edit --> Preferences

Hi, Eugenio.

It's probably best if you post questions about this prerelease to the
lyx-devel@lists.lyx.org list. In fact, when you reply to this mail, please
send it to lyx-devel. We are, after all, talking about a prerelease and by
using it you're acting as one of my guinea pigs :-)

You don't need to subscribe to lyx-devel to post there and you can follow
the conversation through the gmane news interface. Alternatively, I can CC
you direct.

First, could you tell me which version of the prerelease you're using.
We're up to version 12 on the wiki now.

Just to clear up any confusion, what do you mean by "Instant Preview"? Do
you mean the display of graphics files (\includegraphics{figure_1.eps}) on
the LyX screen or do you mean the pretty-printing of math formulae, as
described here: http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/InstantPreview ?

Either way, could you be more precise. "having problems" isn't much help...

I haven't investigated yet, but my feeling is that this is a bug in the
underlying Qt/Win Free library. See
http://wiki.lyx.org/Windows/LyX136pre#known_bugs for the complete list of
problems that we've isolated but not yet solved.

You'll have to be more precise than this I'm afraid...
