Note that the gpl qt/win port is now good enough to compile LyX (I
guess you saw the recent message from Ruurd).

Yes, in the lyx->latex->lyx direction. Of course, people would like to
have latex->lyx->latex, and this may be close to impossible.

Hmm, scribus is a desktop publishing software, right? I guess that's
quite orthogonal to LyX, and I am not sure what kind of import/export
could be done.
