Do the above, and then I think the better approach is just to bug the authors of such programs to make export options in the programs. And as a fall-back, why not just use a screen-shot making program? The task of designing a new XPart thing is big, and doomed to be uphill due to a multiple of different technologies used, lack of man-power to implement support for it in other applications, no buy-in from other applications, and so on. A simple export feature, however, even if it flashes a window shortly, is often a five-line patch: Open the document, save it in some useful format, and close the application again. From there, the converter business picks up the ball. Most maintainers would accept such patches. Best regards, Asger
