;-) Maybe indeed. One thing I have been thinking might be nice is the ability to use an arbitrary _external_ renderer to visualise the contents of the inset. We already have two internal renderers --- a simple button and a graphics renderer --- with a preview renderer to follow. Do you have any feel for the feasibility of --- say --- embedding gnumeric to visualise spreadsheet data? I did a bit of a google search and it appears that Matthias Ettrich tried to generalise the KParts stuff as XParts but all references to it seemed at least two years old. -- Angus
