That's because the system is too complex for others to contribute templates. I see lots of relevant template being added. Suitable for general use: - Spread-sheets - Financial applications - All kinds of graphers - Calendars - Other words processors - HTML editors and then there are a wide range of esoterics: - GUI builders - Music typesetting - Astronomy applications - Chemical drawing programs - CD cover programs - 3D modellers - and whatever niche you are in where you use a computer to make some kind of graphics. You can even use wine to embed the output from Windows applications in your documents. Most of these can make good use of at least the scaling transformation, but rotation and cropping transformation are always useful. So, maybe the best feature to develop is a "Template" editing GUI in the form of a "Wizard" which helps you make one. Best regards, Asger
