No, the 'current branch' selected in the left browser. Ah, I see that
is misleading. Would it help to select (paint yellow) the same branch
in the right browser as in the left if it is there?

No, not now... a half-ass solution would send newbies into the forest
:-( Either implement it completely, or leave it at this. As an
in-between compromise I could provide a set of Preferences-editable
colours like br_red, br_magenta etc. defined in LColor. I want this to
be committed *now* so I can go to my summer cottage in peace :-) and
later put on the finishing touches.

Leaving in two hours again...
