I'm a HUGE cygwin fan as well. However the integration between Cygwin/XFree86 and Win32 apps is still a little flaky, you need to have XWinClip running, your X Server really needs to support rootless and 'native windows' (whatever they're calling it now). A 'next -> next -> next -> finish' installer like they have for gtkmm and gtk+ would make things much easier. Building the installers is a relatively simple matter with innosetup. Cheers
