LyX for Win32

Dear Ruurd,

are there any plans to upgrade the windows port to 1.3.1 (and beyond)?

I also wonder whether it is possible to integrate your patches in the 
main development branch (probably in small steps) and to combine your 
efforts with those of Claus Hentschel.

All I can say is that I know a lot of people who would like to see LyX 
on Windows. However, they are not willing to install a bunch of tools 
(including a X server) before for that purpose. These requirements make 
it impossible to give a short demonstration of the possibilities of LyX. 
Thus, please continue your great work on the Win port!

BTW: Currently, only Claus' Windows port is listed on the LyX web site.
