Hi I'm trying to install 1.3.0pre-1.i386.rpm on a RedHat 7.3 system.
I managed: >wget ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/contrib/libforms-1.0-release.i386.rpm >rpm -i libforms-1.0-release.i386.rpm but >rpm -i home/lyx-1.3.0pre3-1.i386.rpm error: failed dependencies: libgcc_s.so.1 is needed by lyx-1.3.0pre3-1 libstdc++.so.5 is needed by lyx-1.3.0pre3-1 libstdc++.so.5(GLIBCPP_3.2) is needed by lyx-1.3.0pre3-1 fails... where should I get libstdc etc?
